SOUND STUDIOS OLYMPIA -- July Newsletter

Hello, friends and families of Sound Studios Olympia!

Summer is in full swing, and we're so excited to make music with you this month, Thank you for being part of our wonderful community. Your energy, creativity, and support are what keep our studio thriving.

We've got some exciting things coming up that you won't want to miss:

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

Join us at Percival Landing on August 3rd, from 3-5pm for our annual family-friendly Video Game and Cinema Music performance! This is a fantastic chance to hear your favorite themes from movies and games performed live outdoors by our talented students, all while enjoying the summer breeze by the water. Bring friends and family along, and let's fill the landing with music and joy.

NEW OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN AND CREATE!

This month we're also kicking off a 10-week Songwriting workshop led by one of our amazing instructors, Indigo Kendzie who teaches voice/singing and songwriting at SSO. It's a welcoming, creative space to learn, write, and share your own original songs, whether you're a relative beginner or more intermediate. Spots are limited, so don't wait too long to sign up! 13 years and up, $18 each session, sign up for as many as you'd like as each week has a different theme or focus. Indigo also has openings in their regular private lesson studio so reach out if you or someone you know is interested in voice lessons.

STAY CONNECTED

We will be posting updates, stories, and behind the scenes moments regularly on our website and social media, so be sure to check back often and see what's new at the studio.

SUPPORT OUR MISSION

Sound Studios Olympia depends on the generosity of our community to keep offering these vibrant programs and opportunities. If you'd like to help us continue making music accessible to everyone, please consider making a donation through our website or becoming a business sponsor. Every contribution helps us bring more music into more lives, as well as fund scholarships to offer students who would otherwise not be able to afford lessons.

We're so incredibly grateful for each of you, and we can't wait to see you at the studio, at Percival Landing, or around town this summer. Let's make July a month full of creativity, connection, and of course... MUSIC!

Shawn R. Meloy, President SSO
