Timothy teaches voice and works with all ages and styles.
Timothy Wilds works as an educator (voice trainer, vocal coach, choral director) and a performer (singer, actor).
Over his career, he has worked with students from age 18 months to 88 years: as a Kindermusik teacher, church musician, middle school and high school teacher, college professor, community children’s choir director, community music school voice instructor, and senior adult chorus director. As a performer, he has sung with early music ensembles; appeared as a soloist with choirs and orchestras; and performed lead and secondary roles in operas, operettas, and musical theater. He has performed at Southern Appalachian Repertory Theater (NC), Players Circle Theater (FL), Daytona Playhouse (FL), Vashon Repertory Theater Fest (WA), Drama Dock (WA), Tacoma Little Theater (WA), Beach Street Repertory Theater (FL), Asheville Lyric Opera (NC), Union Avenue Opera Theater (MO). Most recently as Roger Walker in Somewhere Between for Vashon Repertory Theater Fest; Rick Lloyd in Winghaven Park for Drama Dock; Father Paxton in What We Heard from the City of Asylum for Tacoma Little Theater; Kris Kringle in Miracle on 34th Street—the Musical for Beach Street Repertory Theater; and Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd for Vashon Repertory Theater.
